Reducing Isolation Among Bleeding Disorders Social Workers

September 19, 2014

Social Workers

If you’re surprised at how other social workers function so well in their role and yearn for an easier way to stay connected with other bleeding disorders social workers, come to this session. We will open the discussion among bleeding disorders social workers to talk about what the social work role looks like across the country, and the level of support and connection that currently exists. We will hear an example of a well-established peer supervision model and see the new and improved Social Work section of the National Hemophilia Foundation’s website. This session will be interactive, and participants will have the opportunity to offer their thoughts on the benefits and challenges of staying connected.
