The National Hemophilia Foundation’s (NHF) annual Washington Days will be held March 5-7, 2008. At this annual advocacy event, individuals and their families gather in the nation’s capitol for three days of training, education and practical use of skills on how to make our voices heard by key legislators.
One person can make a difference—YOU. Advocacy is nothing more than telling your story to your elected officials, in effect putting a face on the issues the bleeding disorders community is dealing with now.
This year, you will learn about and help advocate for several critical issues facing our community, including lifetime insurance caps, access to Medigap insurance and funding for hemophilia treatment centers.
Please register now to ensure your place at this important event. Registration must be received by Monday, January 28, 2008, to receive the guaranteed hotel rate. To register online, go to: www.hemophilia.org/events/washington_days/2008/washdays_register.htm
