The pharmaceutical company Grifols S.A., which is based in Barcelona, Spain, announced that it will donate approximately $1.4 million worth of plasma-derived clotting factor products to the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH). WFH will distribute the products among developing countries worldwide, where access to treatment for patients with hemophilia is limited or nonexistent.
