Novo Nordisk will sponsor four Inhibitor Patient Education Summits in the U.S. in 2006. Summits are planned for: Anaheim on July 28-29th; Dallas on August 4-5th; Baltimore on September 22-23rd; and Chicago on October 27-28th. Last November, Novo Nordisk held its first Inhibitor Patient Education Summit in Philadelphia. Topics for this year's summit include "Treatment Strategies," "Insurance: Changes and Challenges," "Exercise and Sports" and "Psychosocial Issues." 

Speaker selection and session content for the Novo Nordisk Summits have been directed by a steering committee of national and local hemophilia leaders, including physicians, nurses, advocates, patients, physical therapists and social workers.
