Scholarship information is available on NHF’s Web site for students with bleeding disorders, their siblings, parents and spouses who are pursuing post-high school education. There you will find two dozen scholarships. Deadlines to apply generally run from April through July 2008.
Project Red Flag Academic Scholarship
NHF is pleased to again offer two $2,500 scholarships for women with bleeding disorders. The deadline for applications is Friday, May 16, 2008. For further information or to apply, please contact Anna DeSimone, NHF Director of Education: adesimone@hemophilia.org.
This program is made possible through the initiative of two young women with bleeding disorders and through a generous grant from CSL Behring.
Kevin Child Scholarship
This scholarship is given annually to a qualified student in memory of Kevin Child, who died of AIDS prior to his college graduation in 1989. The Child family hopes the scholarship will provide some assistance to an eligible student to acquire a higher education. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 27, 2008.
