With two walks down and three to go, the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) is celebrating successes in Texas and New York. The Lone Star Chapter of the NHF in Houston raised more than $177, 278 for crucial research, education and advocacy during its walk on Saturday, September 6, 2008. The New York City Hemophilia Walk, held on Sunday, June 1, 2008, has raised more than $170,000.
