Please mark your calendars for February 25-26, 2009, NHF’s annual Washington Days event on the Hill. Here’s your chance to walk the halls of Congress, meet with your elected officials and put your faces on issues that affect our community. We provide the training, you provide the personal message. Your story is your most effective tool to convey the importance of insurance coverage, such as the need to raise lifetime insurance caps, coverage for the full range of needed products and therapies, and other issues that affect you and your family directly.
This year, Washington Days registration will be conducted through local NHF chapters and hemophilia associations. More detailed information will be distributed shortly. Please check the NHF Web site, www.hemophilia.org, for the latest information.
Bring your friends and family to this hands-on event where you can make a difference. Last year, several children from across the country brought visual aids to get their messages across. They left an impression that remained long after they returned home.
We look forward to seeing you in DC. Be seen. Be heard. Be there.
