NHF is pleased to offer the 2009 Project Red Flag Academic Scholarship for Women with Bleeding Disorders. The scholarship benefits women with bleeding disorders who are pursuing post-high school studies.
NHF will award two $2,500 scholarships. The money can be used to pay expenses related to undergraduate or graduate studies at a college, university or accredited vocational school.
Applications are available on the PRF Web site: www.projectredflag.org. For more information, contact Dorothy Noel, NHF Health Education & Prevention Coordinator: dnoel@hemophilia.org. The deadline is Friday, May 15, 2009.
This scholarship is inspired by the generosity of Josephine Droney and Lindsey Hanson--two extraordinary young women in the bleeding disorders community.
