There’s still time to apply for college scholarships. NHF’s Web site provides a list of nearly two dozen scholarships for students with bleeding disorders, their siblings, and parents and spouses who are pursuing post-high school education. Although most deadlines have passed, there are some in June and July, or that are on-going.

Kevin Child Scholarship
This scholarship is given annually to a qualified student in memory of Kevin Child, who died of AIDS prior to his college graduation in 1989, 20 years ago. The Child family hopes the scholarship will provide some assistance to an eligible student to acquire a higher education. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 26, 2009.
