NHF is pleased to welcome its newest chapter--the New York City Hemophilia Chapter (NYCHC). It is the 45th affiliated chapter to join NHF since it began its Chapter Development Initiative in 2008.

Shari Bender will lead NYCHC as its first President. The chapter will serve people in the five boroughs of New York City and in surrounding counties in the state. It will again participate in NHF’s Hemophilia Walk on Sunday, July 12, in Riverside Park. Last year’s walk raised more than $100,000.
