NHF 2009 Walks Break the Tape, Locations Announced for 2010
 

The National Hemophilia Foundation is pleased to announce the success of its 2009 walk initiative, its second year running the program. The walks attracted 6,000 walkers and raised more than $1,235,000 from national sponsors, local businesses and individual donations.

NHF’s Hemophilia Walk is a nationwide event that raises funds and awareness of hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Participants raise money for crucial research, advocacy and education by joining together in a fun and festive event.

The 15 sites for the 2010 Walk season are:

  • Arizona Hemophilia Association (Phoenix)
  • Central Ohio Chapter of NHF (Columbus)
  • Delaware Valley Chapter of NHF  (Glenside, PA)
  • Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation (Milwaukee, WI)
  • Hemophilia Foundation of Illinois (Chicago)
  • Hemophilia Foundation of Northern California (Emeryville)
  • Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California (Los Angeles)
  • Hemophilia of Indiana (Indianapolis)
  • Hemophilia of North Carolina (Cary)
  • Lone Star Chapter of NHF (Houston, TX)
  • Nebraska Chapter of NHF (Lincoln)
  • New England Hemophilia Association (Dedham, MA)
  • New York City Hemophilia Chapter
