The National Hemophilia Foundation is pleased to announce the success of its 2009 walk initiative, its second year running the program. The walks attracted 6,000 walkers and raised more than $1,235,000 from national sponsors, local businesses and individual donations.
NHF’s Hemophilia Walk is a nationwide event that raises funds and awareness of hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Participants raise money for crucial research, advocacy and education by joining together in a fun and festive event.
The 15 sites for the 2010 Walk season are:
