The time is fast approaching for NHF's Washington Days, February 24-25, 2010. Although NHF's room block rate at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA, is no longer available, it's not too late to register to participate in the Hill visits. This two-day gathering in our nation's capital provides members of the bleeding disorders community with the opportunity to meet with their U.S. senators and representatives to express their concerns on issues affecting their lives, such as access to care and the elimination of lifetime and annual caps in insurance plans.
By sharing your story, you put a face on the real issues affecting individuals and families dealing with bleeding disorders. You provide the story, we provide the training. Don't underestimate the power of you or your child's story--many in this community have left a lasting impression on the Hill simply by speaking from the heart.
If you are interested in attending, contact your local chapter to register and for additional hotel information. Click here for the agenda, fact sheets and talking points.
