The National Hemophilia Foundation is pleased to offer the Victory for Women (V4W) 2011 Academic Scholarship for Women with bleeding disorders. The scholarship benefits women with bleeding disorders who are pursuing post-high school studies.
NHF will award two $2,500 scholarships this year. The money can be used to pay expenses related to undergraduate or graduate studies at a college, university or accredited vocational school.
For more information, visit the V4W section of the NHF Website or contact Patrice Flax, NHF Manager of Education: pflax@hemophilia.org. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 20, 2011. Scholarship winners will be announced in June.
The scholarship is inspired by the generosity of Josephine Droney and Lindsey Hanson, two extraordinary young women in the bleeding disorders community.
