Congratulations to the Western Pennsylvania, Illinois, Great Lakes, Indiana and Nebraska chapters on their successful events in September!
The Western Pennsylvania Chapter of NHF held its third Walk and raised more than $41,000 on September 17th in North Park. This year, the chapter hosted a women’s team and gathering area to highlight women and girls with bleeding disorders.
Hemophilia Foundation of Illinois enjoyed clear, bright skies at its second annual event. It raised more than $91,000. The chapter witnessed an increase in local sponsors and a slew of new teams this year.
Thunder and rain showed up in Wisconsin but they didn’t stop the Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation from raising more than $48,000 and welcoming 200 walkers to its event in Milwaukee on September 24th. The chapter also hosted events in Madison and Fox Valley.
Nebraska Chapter of NHF held its third Walk in Omaha on September 24th. The chapter has raised more than $35,000 with 350 participants.
Hemophilia of Indiana hosted another successful event, which welcomed 400 participants and raised more than $64,000. Jeanne White-Ginder, Ryan White’s mother, joined in the festivities and helped promote the event through media interviews.
