The 2011 Hemophilia Walk season drew to a close this past weekend, as the Tennessee Hemophilia & Bleeding Disorders and Arizona Hemophilia Association held their events on Sunday, November 6th. The Arizona event drew 1,000 walkers and raised more than $60,000. For the Tennessee event, 400 walkers turned out and raised nearly $60,000.
Hemophilia of North Carolina held its 4th Walk on Saturday, October 15, at Lake Crabtree. The chapter hosted more than 1,000 participants and raised more than $81,000. 34 teams gathered together to participate in the 5K event, enjoying the music of Performance DJ and dance group World in Motion.
The Central Ohio Chapter, National Hemophilia Foundation hosted its 3rd Hemophilia Walk on Sunday, October 23. Walkers strolled through the lovely Ohio State University Campus and raised more than $35,000.
