Participants are being recruited for a survey called “Resilience and Quality of Life in Individuals Aging with Hemophilia.” Funded by a Social Work Excellence Fellowship from the National Hemophilia Foundation, this is a joint project of the Henry Ford Hospital Adult Hemophilia Treatment Center in Detroit and the Social Work Program at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.

 

The purpose of the study is to better understand the psychological and emotional impact of aging with hemophilia, how this affects quality of life and how resilience and healthy coping skills are developed.

 

The survey is open to individuals with hemophilia who are 18 years old or older. It takes about 20 minutes to complete and all information is anonymous. Participate in the survey on either SurveyMonkey.com or HenryFord.com.
