A Twitter chat uses a specific hash tag (#HemoChat) to manage the conversation. It occurs on a set day and time when all participants are on Twitter at the same time talking about a certain issue or topic--in this case, bleeding disorders. The Twitter chat offers our community an opportunity to network and increase awareness to the general public in real time.
