This year the NHF-CDC National Prevention Program Grants will be shorter term mini-grants to help enhance your summer camp or family camp. The grants can be used for extra training for staff, increased outreach and support for unserved or underserved people with bleeding disorders, for siblings to attend camp or for your own innovative, creative programming. Applications are due by Thursday, February 15, 2007.

First Step Grants

Chapters and associations that have participated in a Train-the-Trainer workshop or that plan to attend the Spring 2007 Train-the-Trainer workshop, can apply for funding to help support and foster a First Step program. Grant funding can be used for training mentor parents, outreach to new families and much more. For more information, contact Alyssa Strauss, NHF Manager of Education at: 212.328.3744. First Step Grant funding is supported by an educational grant from Wyeth. Applications are due by Friday, March 1, 2007.
