In conjunction with Hemophilia Awareness Month in March, the National Hemophilia Foundation is kicking off two fundraising campaigns. Dress Down for Genes is a program for companies to encourage their employees to wear jeans and donate their lunch money to support NHF’s mission of education, outreach, advocacy and research.
Celebrity Blue Jeans for Genes is an online auction of autographed blue jeans donated by the hottest star of film, music, TV and pop culture. The following celebrities have contributed their jeans to the 2007 auction: Michael and Marco Andretti, Tyra Banks, Jim Belushi, Orlando Bloom, Lindsay Lohan, Mike Myers and Bonnie Raitt. The 10-day eBay auction will run from March 20-30, 2007. All winning bids benefit NHF.
