Bayer HealthCare is offering a paid summer marketing internship to eligible college students at its West Haven, Connecticut location. The Bayer HealthCare Hemophilia Leadership Development Program is for college sophomores through seniors who are consumers or who have a sibling with a bleeding disorder and have proven leadership skills in the bleeding disorders community and want to build on them.
During the eight-to 10-week internship, the intern will tour Bayer’s manufacturing facility in Berkeley, California, observing firsthand how a recombinant factor VIII (rFVIII) product for hemophilia patients is made. The intern will find out about state and federal legislative activities and take classes on leadership skills, reimbursement and marketing. The internship culminates in an independent project. Applications are due by Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at 11:59 pm ET.
