The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) is hosting its 59th Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida, November 1-3, 2007. This year’s theme is “Join us for the Journey” and we encourage all of you to join us for three full days of programs, workshops, networking opportunities and social activities. At the Annual Meeting, more than 2,000 consumers, families, healthcare providers and industry representatives all congregate for a common purpose—to receive the latest medical/health information, meet others with the same concerns and connect with old friends and new.
This year’s line-up includes consumer workshops on inhibitors and emergency preparedness; a two-day physician/researcher track; sessions on nursing tricks of the trade, hydrotherapy interventions for physical therapists and an ethics symposium for social workers. There will be panel discussions and workshops for chapter presidents, executive directors and staff. And there will be fun social events for everyone.
If you’ve never been to Orlando, now’s your chance. We will be staying at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center, a full-service resort on 200 acres. It has six swimming pools with poolside activities for children and teens; basketball and sand volleyball courts; lighted tennis courts; an 18-hole championship golf course and a fitness center and spa. It is close to such world-famous attractions as Walt Disney World; SeaWorld Orlando and Universal Studios Florida.
To receive a 15% discount, you must register online only by Monday, April 30, 2007. Online registration forms will be available soon at NHF’s Web site: www.hemophilia.org. Faxed and/or mail-in registrations will not receive the discount.
Please note that the discount does not apply to National Youth Leadership Institute (NYLI) Activity Program for Kids (aka Youth and Adolescent Program) or Baby Care Program.
