This year, NHF Washington Days participants will focus
on thee important issues when we go to the Hill. They are the need
for increased funding for the Hemophilia Treatment Centers, the need
to support and pass the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Insurance
Act, and the need for increased access to Medigap insurance policies
for people with bleeding disorders and other chronic, high cost conditions.

Although NHF Washington Days will focus on three particular
issues, NHF is active throughout the year at both the federal and state
levels on a range of issues of importance for people with bleeding
and clotting disorders.
