Apria Healthcare Group, Inc., a homecare company based in Lake Forest, CA, is in the process of acquiring Coram, Inc., a specialty infusion service and pharmacy headquartered in Denver, CO. The acquisition, announced jointly by the two companies, is worth $350 million. Coram retains more than 65,000 customers nationally, including patients with hemophilia. It has 70 branch locations and more than 50 ambulatory infusion suites across the U.S. The deal is expected to close by mid-November 2007.
