The 2010 Bayer Hemophilia Leadership Development Program is an eight-week paid internship (June-August) held at Bayer HealthCare’s US Headquarters in Wayne, New Jersey.
Now in its 5th year, the internship acquaints students with the production and promotion of recombinant factor VIII product. Students receive leadership training, tour Bayer’s manufacturing facility in Berkeley, CA, meet with public policy professionals in healthcare, and find out more about marketing and communications strategies. The internship culminates with a “personal challenge project,” using new skills gained during the course of the training program.
Candidates for the summer internship are current college sophomores, junior or seniors who have strong ties to the hemophilia community and can demonstrate a commitment to and interest in future leadership in this community.
Applications are being taken now through the deadline: Monday, February 1, 2009, 11:59 PM ET. For more information visit Living Beyond Hemophilia. |
