Pfizer Hemophilia recently announced that the 3,000 IU dosage strength of BeneFIX®, the company’s recombinant factor IX (rFIX) product, is now available for hemophilia B patients. BeneFIX is indicated for the control, prevention and perioperative management of bleeding episodes in adult and pediatric patients with hemophilia B.

 

BeneFIX, which may be stored at room temperature or under refrigeration (2°C to 30°C/36°F to 86°F) for up to two years or until expiration, also comes in 250, 500, 1,000, and 2,000 IU vial sizes.
