On behalf of the Social Work Working Group, welcome to our page on the NHF website. This page contains links to many resources that will help you better serve the bleeding disorder community.
"SWWG" consists of members called Regional Representatives, each selected from a Federal Government Grant Region. This national committee represents social work perspectives, expertise and interests in the bleeding disorder community. Click here for information about how to apply for SWWG membership.
SWWG members meet in Washington D.C. each year to begin planning the social work track of NHF’s annual national meetings. SWWG members also communicate regularly by phone and email and contribute to the planning of regional meetings. Serving on this active committee is an exciting and fulfilling opportunity to grow professionally and to take a leadership role in the community. SWWG members encourage social workers to use a collaborative approach with other providers and with consumers to achieve holistic care.
Collectively, SWWG members offer decades of experience in supporting the best possible quality of life for men, women and children with bleeding disorders. To serve our fellow social workers in the community, we share the links below. Please contact your regional SWWG member if you wish to give feedback about a resource or recommend an addition to the list.
