The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is hosting a webinar, "Inhibitor Testing: State of the Art," on Thursday, July 24, at 2:00pm EST. Inhibitors, antibodies to infused factor product, complicate treatment for people with bleeding disorders.

This webinar provides important information on who is at risk for developing an inhibitor and how people are tested for inhibitors, and explains the CDC laboratory’s role in national inhibitor monitoring. The webinar is presented by Connie Miller, PhD, a medical geneticist and director of the Clinical Coagulation Laboratory, Division of Blood Disorders at the CDC.
