Nominations for the Awards of Excellence
will be accepted from NHF chapters, HTCs, and NHF volunteers
and members in the following categories:
- PHYSICIAN OF THE YEAR (named in honor of Dr. Kenneth
Brinkhous)
- RESEARCHER OF THE YEAR (named in honor of Dr. Murray
Thelin)
- ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR (named in honor of Joseph Early
and Dr. L. Michael Kuhn)
- NURSE OF THE YEAR
- PHYSICAL THERAPIST OF THE YEAR (named in honor of Donna
Boone, PT)
- SOCIAL WORKER OF THE YEAR (named in honor of Jill Solomon)
- LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT (named in honor of Dick James)
- HUMANITARIAN OF THE YEAR (named in honor of Mary Gooley)
- VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR (named in honor of Robert Lee
