Youth
& Adolescent Program
For the 10th consecutive year, NHF is delighted to offer its specially
designed Youth & Adolescent (Y&A) Program. Young people
with bleeding disorders, their nonaffected siblings, carriers or
children whose parents have bleeding disorders and children of presenters
are all welcome to sign up!
The program is scheduled to take place on:
• Friday, November 7, 8:00am
to 5:00pm
• Saturday, November 8, 7:00am
to 5:00pm.

The Y&A program participants will be offered activities, daytime
meals (breakfast, lunch and snacks) and two field trips. The program
is specifically designed for children and teenagers ages 4 to 17.
A $30 fee per child is required to offset the costs associated with
this program.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
• There is no on-site registration
for this program.
• Children are encouraged to
check-in and have thier photos taken on Thursday from 9am-6pm at
the Imperial Ballroom Registration Desk on the lobby level of the
Grand America Hotel.
• Check-in and check-out (on
Friday and Saturday) for the Y&A program is located on the third
floor of the Grand America hotel.
• Children need to be signed
in each morning by a parent/guardian on Friday between 8am-8:30am
and on Saturday between 7am-8am.
• Children need to be signed
out each evening by a parent/guardian before 5pm on Friday and
Saturday.
RULES OF CONDUCT
All participants must agree to the following “Rules of Conduct”
• Confidentiality
• Respect and support one another
• Don’t interrupt
• Listen and learn from one
another
• Clean up after yourself
• Respect other people’s
property
• No “put downs”
• Never go off alone! Escorts
will be provided
• Observe local and national
laws

FIELD TRIP*
CLARK PLANETARIUM (ages 4-17)
Visit this new, state-of-the art planetarium that offers an out-of-this-world
atmosphere. The Clark Planetarium is anything but ordinary. You’ll
be amazed by fun scientific exhibits, a 3-D Imax Theater movie and
an all-star planetarium show.

FIELD TRIP*
HOGLE ZOO
Enjoy an animal adventure and a Utah favorite. The Hogle Zoo provides an oasis for over 1,100 exotic animals, representing over 250 species from around the world, including bears, elephants, snakes, giraffes and tigers.
