On November 21, 2016, the National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC) announced the inclusion of the NHF-McMaster University Guideline on Care Models for Haemophilia Management.  NGC is a database of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines maintained by the US Department of Health and Human Services. The NGC is recognized as setting the gold standard for guidelines and is widely respected by stakeholders across the healthcare industry. The guideline is a tool to assist practitioners and patients in making decisions about appropriate healthcare in specific clinical circumstances. Being included in the NGC database means that the NHF-McMaster Guideline meets the highest standards for guideline development.

More information about the guideline and how it was developed can be found in the recently published HemAware cover story, 'Well-Grounded Guideline."
