Come the Spring of 2021 patients and caregivers will be presented with a new opportunity to provide valuable feedback on the care they receive at hemophilia treatment centers (HTC) across the United States.

The Third National Patient Satisfaction Survey (PSS) – preceding surveys were completed in 2015 and 2018 – is designed to assess patient demographics, their satisfaction with the HTC’s core treatment team, its services, and care processes. This new installment of the PSS will also engage patients on the significant adjustments necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, including questions relevant to tele-health vs. in-person care.

Those who received care at an HTC in 2020 are enthusiastically encouraged to complete the survey, which is brief and available in both English and Spanish. Paper surveys will also be mailed out to affected families. For questions, or to learn more about the earlier surveys, please go visit the survey homepage.

To learn more about findings of the pilot PSS visit the NHF website.

For more information about the 2021 PSS launch, please register for NHF’s Wednesday Webinar Series, where a future installment – date to be announced - will highlight this important initiative.
