The Lone Star Chapter of the National Hemophilia
Foundation (LSC) is a 501(c)(3) organization that has been
meeting the needs of the bleeding disorders community of south
Texas since 1969. Our purpose is to improve the lives of those
affected by bleeding disorders through education, advocacy,
and supporting research for a cure. We are affiliate members
of the National Hemophilia Foundation and the Hemophilia Federation
of America.
"The
Lone Star Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation is
dedicated
to the treatment and cure of hemophilia,
related bleeding disorders, and the complications
of those disorders or their treatment,
including HIV infection. We also work to
improve the quality of life for all affected
individuals through the promotion and support
of research, education, and other
services."
