Walk
With Us
Walking with us on Walk Day is the most exciting and rewarding way to
show your support. More than just a walk, the day includes great entertainment
and fun for the whole family. You are welcome to walk as an individual,
join a team or create your own team.
Teams can represent
companies, organizations, families, schools and clubs. They can range
from as few as five walkers
to hundreds. Teams have a unique energy that spills over
to each team member, creating lasting memories. So bring your co-workers,
family, friends, children,
babies in strollers and even dogs on leashes to walk together
for a common cause and increase community spirit. All individuals must register to participate in the walk, join a team,
create a team or become a fundraiser. (If you are a parent and would like
to register your child, you may do so by creating your Active.com account
and registering an additional participant at the conclusion of your registration
process.)
There is no registration
fee for this event but all participants are encouraged to
fundraise. NHF has partnered with Active.com to make online
fundraising fun, easy and secure. Click

raising money quickly! Participants who raise $25 or more
will receive an official Walk t-shirt.

a Team: (for
Team Captains) |
- Select
the participating chapter from the menu on the right
and click “Register Now!”
- Then
click the green “Team Captains – Create
Your Team” button.
- Login with your MyActive account. If you do not have one, quickly create a MyActive account.
- Enter the name of your team and click “Save" to
complete the registration.
Note: A team fundraising Web page is automatically
created once you register your team!
- After registering
your team, please register yourself as a member of
your team by continuing or later returning
to this page and clicking on "Register
Now!" (See
Team Members below.)

as a Team Member: (Team
Captains must first register the team) |
- Select
the participating chapter from the menu on the right
and click “Register to Walk.”
- Then
click the green “Register Now” button.
- Login with your MyActive account. If you do not have
one, quickly create a MyActive account.
- Check the
waiver, enter your initials, check the age box. Click “Continue.”
- Fill
out the registration form. Select your team from the
drop-down menu. Click “Continue.”
- Review
your registration details. Click "Submit." (Registration
is free. No payment is required.)
Note: Your own fundraising Web page is automatically
created after you've registered.
- On the
Registration Confirmation page, click “Log
In Here” to begin customizing your Web page.
