NHF Youth Programs

We, at NHF, feel very strongly about including young people in our programs; that is why NHF has many initiatives that allow young people to become involved in the bleeding disorders community. Throughout this section you will find many ways to get involved. Please—click away!

NHF Youth Leadership Task Force

The National Hemophilia Foundation’s Youth Leadership Task Force (YLTF) advises NHF on major initiatives and serves as mentors for young adults across the country. M embers have been selected through a highly competitive selection process.

Major initiatives that YLTF is currently working on are:

- NHF National Youth Leadership Institute
- Youth Web site
- NHF Annual Meeting and Y&A Program
- NHF On the Road Conferences

- NHF National Prevention Program/Do the 5!


NHF Youth and Adolescent Program

For the twelth consecutive year, NHF is pleased to offer its Youth & Adolescent Program. All young people (ages 4 to 18 years old) affected by bleeding disorders are welcome to join us!

NHF National Youth Leadership Institute

The NHF National Youth Leadership Institute (NYLI) has been created to foster the development of future leaders of the bleeding disorders community and encourage young adult participation. The next NYLI meeting will take place in conjunction with NHF’s 57th Annual Meeting in San Diego, California, October 27-29, 2005.
