The Workplace and Disclosure

Communicating in the Workplace

Disclosure can be a crucial issue in the workplace when you have a bleeding disorder and require accommodations in the workplace. The Americans with Disabilities Acts of 1990 (ADA) protects individuals with disabilities from discrimination in the workplace. It can be hard to know when, to whom and what to disclose. In the workplace, disclosure needs to be a strategic and thoughtful process.
