Girl Identity--My Bleeding Disorder and Me

Trying to figure out who you are and how you fit in can be a challenge, and a bleeding disorder adds a whole new dimension to identity. What makes me, me? What makes me special? How does my bleeding disorder influence and fit into my identity and my future?  This interactive workshop will allow girls to explore identity through hands-on activities and guided discussions. Participants will be able to connect and walk away with the knowledge that they are supported and not alone.

This workshop is part of NHF’s “Girls at Camp” series, but can be done at any chapter event.

Can be co-facilitated by NYLI.

Recommended ages: 9-18
