NHF Announces 2020 Excellence Fellowship Awards
The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) is very pleased to announce the 2020 awardees of the Nursing and Social Work Fellowships.
The recipient of the Nursing Excellence Fellowship is Amanda Greene, MSN, BSN, RN. Amanda is currently the lead pediatric Hemophilia Nurse Coordinator at the Comprehensive Bleeding Disorder Center at Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Her project is entitled “Retrospective Chart Review of Joint Outcomes and Hospital Utilization for Persons with Hemophilia A (with and without inhibitors) Who Were Switched to Emicizumab for Treatment Prophylaxis.”
The recipient of the Social Work Excellence Fellowship is Kathaleen M. Schnur, LSW. Kathaleen is a licensed social worker at the Hemophilia Center of Western Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh. Her project is entitled “Defining the Micro and Macro Roles of a Hemophilia Treatment Center in the United States from an Interdisciplinary Team Perspective.”
