On Sunday, March 18th, Team NHF marathon runners laced up their sneakers, put on their bibs and joined the more than 22,000 racers in the United Airlines NYC Half-Marathon. Each member of Team NHF committed not only to running the 13  miles, but also fundraising to support the mission of the National Hemophilia Foundation.

Together, Team NHF: Jessica Barnoski, Dawn Evans, Garrett Hayes, Henry Witkop, Stefanie Polsinelli, Jacqueline Rodriguez, Jordan Wechsler, and Daniel Stellar and Deborah Cohen raised more than $25,325 to support the programs and services of the foundation. Each runner has a personal connection to the bleeding disorders community.

Special congratulation to Daniel Stellar, who posted the best time of Team NHF, completing the race in 1 hour and fifty minutes.

“Team NHF is an example of the strength of the bleeding disorders community,” said NHF CEO Val D. Bias. “Every step they took is an testament to what we can achieve not only personally, but also by banding together for a common goal.”
