David Kober of Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, received the 2011 KCS award. Kober graduated from NYU with a BA in economics and French, and a minor in politics. At the time he had been selected, he was enrolled in Brooklyn Law School, where he planned to pursue health law and public interest.
