Join Dr. von Drygalski & Dr. Witkop in a dynamic discussion on two articles highlighting the vascular remodeling in hemophiliac joints associated with hypertension and long-term effects.

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Discuss that vascular remodeling in hemophiliac joints are associated with hypertension and high blood pressure.
  • Explain the importance of further research due to the high risk for morbidity and mortality in hemophilia patients evaluating the casual pathways between vascular joint remodeling, hemarthropathy, and blood pressure.
  • Describe systemic vascular basement membrane markers and their correlation to synovial vascular remodeling related to hemarthrosis.
