As the first module in a three-part series entitled Improving Outcomes for von Willebrand Disease and Other Bleeding Disorders in Non-Hematology Health Care Settings, this webinar “Symptom Recognition and Appropriate Early Intervention in Males with von Willebrand Disease” is designed to better educate healthcare providers about the symptoms and clinical management of males with von Willebrand disease.

The education offered in this series will be particularly valuable to providers who practice outside the hemophilia treatment center network. Primary care physicians, obstetrician/gynecologists, nurse/nurse practitioners, dentists, oral surgeons and other allied professionals are encouraged to take advantage of this accredited learning opportunity.

This webinar series is jointly provided by NHF, Impact Education and the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine. The content presented in this program was developed through the efforts of four highly regarded physicians, including Veronica H. Flood, MD, Robert F. Sidonio, Jr. MD, MSc., Charletta Ayers, MD, MPH and Gloria A. Bachmann, MD.
