The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) is excited to announce a new partnership with MyHemophiliaTeam (www.MyHemophiliaTeam.com).  MyHemophiliaTeam is a free, password-protected social network where you  can connect with others in the bleeding disorders community on your phone, tablet or computer. You'll be able to share tips, support, Q&A, provider referrals and more with other people who have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, as well as with parents and spouses in the community.  It’s a great way for chapter members to find support and learn about NHF resources.

MyHemophiliaTeam.com is a completely independent social network created by MyHealthTeams, a fully independent, mission-driven company based in San Francisco. It is not run by NHF, and it is not controlled by any pharmaceutical company or any other organization.  The company will receive some financial support from Biogen to conduct anonymized market research that will be shared with the community.  MyHemophiliaTeam NEVER shares the personally identifying information of its members with anyone.  The site is monitored. Members of the community are given simple features to report inappropriate content (such as solicitations for home care services, factor products or fundraisers – all of which are prohibited).  MyHemophiliaTeam will work with NHF to promote its toolkits and resources to members of the community.   Currently, MyHemophiliaTeam is available in 8 countries:  US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Netherlands, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

You can check it out for free at: MyHemophiliaTeam.com.
