Holding the National Hemophilia Foundation’s (NHF’s) 67th Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas, August 13-15, 2015, meant that we had the opportunity to host a bigger, better meeting because everybody knows that Dallas does everything in a BIG way!

Nearly 3,000 people gathered for our annual three-day conference, “Boots on the Ground,” attending our biggest lineup of sessions--more than 95—an all-time record. Among them were expanded programming for those with von Willebrand disease (VWD),  roundtables for families on everything from advocating in the ER to stress-free travel, Spanish sessions and many updates on research, clinical trials and treatment breakthroughs.

Our Final Night Event, sponsored by Biogen, was a rootin’, tootin’ roundup at the Circle R  Ranch, with gun slingin’ cowboys, armadillo races and a mini rodeo.

For this electronic highlights issue, we’ve chosen a sampling of interesting stories and colorful photos from the NHF Daily newspaper. Happy reading, y’all!
