Grifols has released a new electronic educational tool in the form of a four gigabyte (4 GB) flash drive. Called FlashLINK to Hemophilia, the drive holds important hemophilia-related information to help educate patients, families, school teachers, coaches, physicians and medical emergency personnel. The tool was developed by the Grifols Nurse Advisory Board.

FlashLINK to Hemophilia can be carried on a key ring to ensure regular and easy access to information crucial to caregivers. The drive is interactive and can be customized by the patient or by a hemophilia nurse for enhanced management of the disorder. The types of information that can be customized for each patient include: infusion log, clinic follow-up sheet, inhibitor log, emergency medical information and sample travel letter.

Grifols is encouraging those interested in learning more about FlashLINK to Hemophilia to ask their hemophilia healthcare provider.
