On August 15, Kathleen Sibelius, Secretary of the US Department of Health and Human Services, announced the 105 recipients awarded grants to serve as navigators in federally facilitated and state partnership marketplaces (formerly called “exchanges”). Information regarding navigators, or in-person assisters, in states operating their own marketplaces is state specific. For anyone interested in determining the status of navigator designations in state-based marketplaces, we encourage you to explore the applicable resources in your state.
