Jake Neubauer, who has severe hemophilia A, was a Top 50 Semifinalist for the 2011 High School Football Rudy Awards. He plays football for Bismarck High School in North Dakota.

This program honors players who demonstrate character, courage, contribution and commitment, the exemplary values of football legend Daniel 'Rudy' Ruettiger, inspirational figure of the classic football film RUDY. $25,000 in academic scholarships, provided by the Trusted Sports Foundation, will be awarded to the 12 finalists. A National Selection Committee chaired by Drew Bledsoe and Troy Aikman will determine the nation’s most inspirational players. Results will be announced on January 15, 2012.

Congratulations to Jake and the Neubauer family, who have been active advocates for the bleeding disorders community locally and at the national level.
